1. Introduction

Sangam Industries manufactures industrial polishing compounds, buffing wheels, abrasive products, surface finishing solutions, and customized industrial products primarily for business customers, distributors, manufacturers, exporters, and industrial buyers.

Since many products are manufactured, processed, packed, or customized specifically according to customer requirements, cancellation and refund requests are governed by the terms described below.


2. Order Confirmation

Orders may be considered confirmed upon:

  • Receipt of purchase order

  • Written order confirmation

  • Advance payment realization

  • Commercial approval by Sangam Industries

  • Confirmation through authorized communication channels

Once confirmed, manufacturing, procurement, packaging, production scheduling, and dispatch planning may begin immediately.


3. Order Cancellation Policy

Before Production Initiation

Orders may generally be considered for cancellation if production activities have not yet started.

Cancellation requests must be submitted through official communication channels.

Any banking charges, documentation charges, transaction costs, or administrative expenses incurred may be deducted.


After Production Initiation

Once manufacturing, material procurement, production scheduling, processing, packaging, customization, or dispatch activities have commenced:

Cancellation requests may not be accepted.

Since industrial manufacturing often involves customized production cycles, Sangam Industries reserves the right to reject cancellation requests after production initiation.


Customized Orders

Orders involving:

  • Custom manufacturing

  • Special dimensions

  • Private labeling

  • OEM manufacturing

  • Customized packaging

  • Special formulations

  • Export customization

  • Client-specific production

Cannot generally be cancelled after confirmation.


4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may only be considered under limited circumstances such as:

Duplicate Payments

If duplicate payments are received for the same transaction.

Order Rejection By Sangam Industries

If Sangam Industries declines an order after receiving payment.

Non-Processable Orders

If production cannot proceed due to operational reasons solely attributable to Sangam Industries.


5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds shall generally not apply in situations including:

  • Change of mind after order confirmation

  • Customer no longer requires products

  • Pricing changes after purchase

  • Incorrect order placement by customer

  • Delays caused by third-party logistics

  • Production already initiated

  • Customized manufacturing completed

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Deliveries

If customers receive:

  • Incorrect products

  • Major manufacturing defects

  • Transit damage (subject to evidence)

  • Significant shortages

Customers should notify Sangam Industries within a reasonable period after receipt.

Customers may be required to provide:

  • Photographs

  • Batch details

  • Packaging evidence

  • Delivery documentation

  • Invoice references

Each claim shall be reviewed individually.


7. Replacement Policy

Depending upon claim verification, Sangam Industries may choose one of the following:

  • Product replacement

  • Partial replacement

  • Credit adjustment

  • Commercial settlement

  • Technical support assistance

Refunds may not always be the primary resolution method.


8. Refund Processing Timeline

Where refunds are approved:

  • Banking timelines may vary

  • Refund timelines may depend upon payment methods

Refund processing durations may vary depending upon commercial circumstances.


9. Advance Payments

Advance payments collected for:

  • Manufacturing reservations

  • Production scheduling

  • Raw material procurement

  • Customized production

  • Export processing

May be partially or fully non-refundable depending upon production status.


10. Export Orders

International orders involve:

  • Production scheduling

  • Documentation costs

  • Freight coordination

  • Export compliance processes

Therefore:

Export orders are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable after confirmation unless otherwise agreed in writing.


11. Force Majeure Situations

Sangam Industries shall not be obligated to provide cancellations, refunds, or compensation arising from:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Transport disruptions

  • War or civil unrest

  • Labor disruptions
